The CITY OF GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI will receive proposals for the “Apron Joint and Crack Seal”, FAA AIP No. 3-28-0027-045-2023project located at the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. Proposals will be received at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 340 Main Street, Greenville, Mississippi,
until 2:00 p.m., local time, on March 2, 2023, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals received after the stated time will not be accepted.

The work is generally described as follows:

This project will consist of joint and crack cleaning and sealing, spall repair, and select slab replacement along portions of the terminal apron.

An Informational Pre-Bid Conference Call will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 16, 2023. Bidders are urged to participate in the meeting/ teleconference in order to submitan informed bid. Contact the office of the Engineer for phone number and meeting ID required to join the call.

Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond equalto 5% of the total bid is required. Contractsecurity in the form of 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bondswillbe required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days.

Each bid mustbe submitted in duplicate with bid security in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are found in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.

Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information andforms as required for the paper bids. Note – electronic bids mustbe secured with a bid bond. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void.

This projectwill be funded under provisionof the Airportand Airway Saf ety and Capacity Act of 1987. Certain mandatory federalrequirements apply to this solicitation and willbe made a partof any contract awarded, including but not limited to:

By submitting a bid under this solicitation, exceptfor those items listed by the bidder on a separateand clearly identified attachmentto its bid, the bidder certif ies that steel and each manufactured productis produced in the United States (as defined in the clause Buy American – Steel and Manufactured Products For Construction Contracts) and that components of unknown origin are considered to have been produced or manufactured outside the United States.

ALL BIDDERS must be properly licensed contractors at the time of award in accordance with the provisions of the State of Mississippi and must indicate their current Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing their Bid, and on their Bid.

The CITY OF GREENVILLE reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner’s best interests.
