Sealed Bids for the CCTV Inspection of the Flat Branch Sewer Interceptor will be received by the Harrison County Utility Authority at 10271 Express Drive, Gulfport, MS 39503
until 10:00 A.M., local time on April 28, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consist of cleaning and inspecting approximately 8600 linear feet of an existing 15” gravity sewer interceptor, along with associated work.

Bids will be received from a single prime Contractor. Bids shall be on a lump unit price basis, with additive, alternate bid items, if applicable, as indic ated on the Bid Form.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents on line at www.hcua-msbids.com and at the Harrison County Utility Authority office at 10271 Express Drive, Gulf port, MS 39503. The bid documents may be obtained through the website. Any questions regarding the electronic bidding service should be directed to Planhouse Bidding Group at 662-407-0193, all other questions should be sent by email to Candice Sardin at csardin@hcua-ms.us.

The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. The Owner will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.

For bids exceeding $50,000.00, Bidder must indicate their Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope as required by Mississippi Law. Eff ective July 1, 2010; Per MS Code 31-3- 21(3); any bid submitted by a nonresident contractor which does not include their state’s law pertaining to such state’s treatment of nonresident contractors, shall be rejected and not considered for award. If no such law exists in the nonresident contractor’s state, then the nonresident contractor may provide a
st atement to that effect.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
