Separate Sealed Bids for the Construction of the Water Distribution System Improvements: Phase 4 will be received by West Jackson County Utility District, herein called the “Owner”, at the office of West Jackson County Utility District, 7200 McCann Road, Biloxi, MS 39532, until 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the West Jackson County Utility District. If a bid is submitted by mail, the address of the West Jackson County Utility District is P.O. Box 1230, Ocean Springs, MS 39566-1230. If a bid is hand-delivered, deliver bid to the West Jackson County Utility District’s office at 7200 McCann Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.

All bid envelopes shall be marked “SEALED BID FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS: PHASE 4 TO BE OPENED AT 2:00 P.M., WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2021”, and if any envelope is not so marked, any bid contained therein will not be considered.

All bid envelopes should contain the bidder’s name and mailing address on the face of the envelope and also specify the name of the bid package.

Bidder’s certificate of responsibility number or a statement that the bid inside is less than $50,000.00 shall appear on the outside or exterior of the envelope or container of such bids, failing which, said bid shall not be opened or considered.

This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1792, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
