Project Identification: FOOTBALL FIELD LIGHTING – PEARL RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE – POPLARVILLE CAMPUS.

Project Description: Project consists of removal of existing pole standards and lighting for football field, installation of new pole standards and lighting for football field. Removal and installation of new electrical panels.

Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:
Electrical installations.

Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

Prebid Meeting: There will not be a Prebid Meeting. Contractors shall visit the site to become familiar with the installations.

Bidders’ Questions: Engineer will provide responses to bidders’ questions received up to 5 (five) business days prior to bid.

Viewing Procurement and Contracting Documents: Examine after February 1, 2021, at the participating plan rooms on the plan holders list.

Plans and specifications are being made available via Plan House Printing. Plan Holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.phbidding.co. (NOTE: The web extension is “CO” not “COM). Cost to obtain plans is non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. No partial sets of drawings of project manuals will be issued.

Cost to obtain plans and specifications is non-refundable.

Plans and specifications must be purchased through the website.

If there is a conflict between the drawings, specifications, and or any notes, with no clarification issued, the bidder shall bid the more stringent product or application.

Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages.

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
