1132 Term Bid Contract For Water, Sewer And Storm Drainage Projects #9652

The City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi will be accepting electronic or sealed bids for the following:

TERM BID CONTRACT FOR WATER, SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE PROJECTS

The work includes the following:
Establishment of Labor and Equipment Rates for various types of construction projects as needed and assigned by the City of Ocean Springs.

The Bid is divided into Schedule A – Labor and Equipment rates and Schedule B – Boring Services. Bidders may bid on one or both schedules.

Project Manuals may be examined in the office of the City Clerk at Ocean Springs City Hall, 1018 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, at the office of the Design Engineer, Overstreet and Associates PLLC, 161 Lameuse Street, Suite 203, Biloxi, Mississippi, or online at www.overstreetengplans.com or www.centralbidding.com. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for online registration. For information regarding website registration and online orders, please contact Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder’s name, address, date and time of the bid opening, and the words “Term Bid Contract for Water, Sewer and Storm Drainage Projects” written on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. The Bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number shall be written on the exterior of the envelope. Absence of the Bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number on the exterior of the envelope will cause the declared bid to not be opened or considered.

Electronic or sealed Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and publicly opened at 2:00 P.M. (local time) on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the City Hall Board Room. Bids may be mailed to P.O. Box 1800, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39566-1800 or hand delivered to City Hall at 1018 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564.

The project is funded the City of Ocean Springs. The successful bidder must comply with all federal, state and local requirements contained in the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Regulations, etc., as identified in the bid proposal packet.

The City of Ocean Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. Bids may be held by the City of Ocean Springs for the purpose of review for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.
