Sealed or electronic bids will be received by the City of Oxford in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 107 Courthouse Square, Oxford, Mississippi, 38655, until 2:00 o’clock P.M., local time, Thursday February 11, 2022, and shortly thereafter publicly opened and read aloud for:

FEMA MITIGATION PROJECT NO. DR4268-0011, PHASE 2 CEMETERY CREEK STABLIZATION PROJECT

The creek stabilization project consists of the construction of an open channel concrete ditch in place of an existing natural creek and sewer relocations.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, local time at the Municipal Courtroom, City Hall, 107 Courthouse Square, Oxford, MS 38655. A mandatory visit to the project site will be part of the pre-bid conference. Bids will not be accepted by the Owner from Bidders who do not attend the Pre-Bid Conference.

The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder for the Base Bid.

Contract Documents are available in paper or digital format. Interested parties are required to register online to view or order bid documents at www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Bids may be submitted in either sealed paper format or electronically. Electronic bid submittal may only be made through www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award. The City of Oxford reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of the City of Oxford, Mississippi.
