RFQ - Engineering Services #14161

The City of Moss Point, Mississippi (the “City”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified individuals or firms for Engineering Services related to its Katrina Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project Robinhood Drive Sanitary Sewer Improvements (MDA Project # R-109-268-05-KCR). This project is funded through current allocations from the Mississippi Development Authority. All services will be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal program rules and regulations under the Katrina CDBG program.

ENGINEERING SERVICES: Engineering design for construction of the proposed improvements includes: development of all plans, specifications, contract documents, general conditions, permitting, bid and award-phase oversight, construction administration, project closeout, and any other applicable services or documents that may be necessary for public bid and construction-phase oversight of the construction contract. Firms or individuals proposing to perform engineering services should submit a list of their qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance.

Interested firms must contact Tricia Thigpen (tricia.thigpen@cityofmosspoint.org) to request an INFORMATION PACKAGE regarding this Request for Statements of Qualifications. The INFORMATION PACKAGE includes detailed information regarding the project scope, required content, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, and other information regarding submission of Statements of Qualifications.

Said Statements of Qualifications will be received by the City Clerk, City of Moss Point, 4320 McInnis Avenue, Moss Point, MS 39563, no later than 10:00 A.M., October 12, 2023. Statements of Qualifications will later be opened in the City Hall Board Room at 2:00 p.m.

This project is covered by the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. § 1701u) (“Section 3”).
