Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Business Manager at Claiborne County School District, 404 Market Street Port Gibson, Mississippi 39150 or electronically by online submission
until 2:00 P.M., CST on January 7, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for:

Bid documents are being made available via electronic copy. Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.m3aarchplans.com to view Bid Documents. They may be obtained electronically contact Plan House Printing for cost of electronic files.  Printed copies are not available through the Architect.  Plan holders will be responsible for their own reproduction cost. Questions regarding website registration and online orders please contact Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193. Questions regarding plan clarifications or request for information should be directed to the architect as follows:

All Contractors who intend to submit “BIDS” are required to attend the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on December 12, 2025 at the A.W Watson Elementary School Gymnasium, 880 Anthony Street, Port Gibson, Mississippi 39150.

The successful bidder will be allowed Two Hundred and Forty (240) calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the base bid scope of the project.  Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete.  

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi.

Contractors have the option of submitting bids electronically at www.centralbidding.com in lieu of sealed bids.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.

Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are properly licensed under Mississippi Law. for the classification of Building Construction.  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of Forty-Five (45) days after receipt of bids.

The Claiborne County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. And to award the project based on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner.
